Our experience at the service department on Oct. 8 was less indicative of the quality the company boast about. We had to have some work that was first performed 2 weeks earlier redone at additional expense. The explanation was the deletion of some codes as a result of a dead battery. If that is a common problem, I'm puzzled as to why we weren't given advance notice that the same or additional issues could occur because some codes were lost. Although we appreciate the modest discount on the re-repair cost, it was still a frustrating experience
I appreciate the shop working me in on a bad battery citation. They performed some other requested service and notified me before performing added services. I was over all satisfied with the service experience, but I did think $425 was high for the work that was done.
When I first called about my check engine light coming on, I spoke to Jordan who was very nice and told me to bring my car in which I did. He knew that Paul Razzano is always my service advisor so he left Paul a note to call me since it was his late day. Paul called me immediately and contacted me again as soon as he had an estimate and knew what repairs were needed. Paul is honest and I completely trust him. I like coming there for service because of him. I know he will not take advantage of me but yet wants my car to be maintained well and to be safe for me to drive. He is wonderful and Chevrolet of Dover is lucky to have him as one of their employees.
The techs do a top-notch job. They go above and beyond with making sure my car is fixed right the first time. I keep a lot of stuff in my trunk. I never worry about anything being stolen. I have been a customer for over 5 years (purchase and repairs). I love this place, and I would recommend them to all family and friends. Whether you are thinking about buying or need quality repairs, you will enjoy peace of mind when you trust in Chevrolet of Dover. Take care.
