I was told I would receive a call back when my car would be ready. I never received a call so I called and left a message to please let me know. The next day I still didn't get a call until I called and they said my car would be ready at 1.

We felt the deal we received was very fair. The follow up from the dealership has been nice. When my husband went to pick up the truck yesterday he noticed that there is a very small chip in the paint on the hood that they assured my husband would be fixed once he makes an appointment and drops it off. Everyone was very nice. When my husband picked it up our salesman wasn't there but someone else from the team was very helpful setting up the Bluetooth, Onstar etc.

Asked for oil & filter change, tire rotation and mpvi. Also asked to check right front tire because of losing air, also for the fourth visit to fix the intermitted pause in transmission shifting between second and third.
Oil & Filter, tire rotation and mpvi were ok. no mention about tire losing air. Air in tires were set at, lR 35 psi, LF 37 psi, RF 36 psi and RR 38 psi according to infotainment system. Not 35 psi as recommended.
About the pause between second and third their reply was that nothing was found wrong, once again. They said they ran diagnostic and test droved. How did they test drive when the car had 44,187 miles when brought in and 44,187 miles when I picked it up? I am not the only person who is having this problem with the shifting between second and third. In my third visit the tech did some research and up grated the software and it ran great for most of the mileage between oil changes.
Another person I talked to has the same problem and his dealer's service department gave him the same answer. 'Nothing wrong that is the way it works'.
Can someone who designed this transmission find a computer fix for this problem.. When it runs perfect it is great but some times the pause is about two seconds and it slows the speed down. I am worried that it could cause a accident.
About the car. Outside of the intermitted second and third shifting the car is great and I get many compliments on it, Style, Handling, Accessories. Would recommend Impala to all except for the shifting problem.

I brought my car in because it was making a whistling sound after my husband changed the timing chain, guides and tensioner. I explained that to the service tech and also explained that he had checked everything under the hood that could possibly make that noise so I needed one of your mechanics to diagnose the timing chain issue. They charged me $149.95 to check everything in the engine BESIDES the timing chain and afterwards told me they needed to take the engine apart to check the timing chain for an additional $875. I feel that that is what they should have told me in the first place without checking out all the stuff that had been checked multiple times by my husband. U feel that the service center didn't listen to what I told them and I learned a very costly lesson. In addition the person who worked on my car put a little note on my receipt that my car was going to be damaged and 'it was going to be ugly'. Is that actual terminology you teach them? I think it was a bit condescending.
